3rd International New Energy Vehicle Summit 2012 Will Be Held In June

SHANGHAI--(Business Wire)—China’s State Council approved the Energy Saving and NEV Industry Development Plan (2012-2020) last month. The Plan is expected to guide and safeguard the development of China’s new energy vehicle industry. What are the details of the Plan? What implications does it convey? These issues will be discussed at CBI BIZ’s 3rd International New Energy Vehicle Summit on June 26-27, 2012, in Shanghai, China.
Environmental protection, energy saving and innovation were given high priority in this year’s NPC and CPPCC reports, while controversy still exists over the prospects, supporting policies and technical globalization of the new energy vehicle industry. “Developing new energy vehicles is one of China's future development strategies,” said Wang Gang, China’s Minister of Science and Technology.
The 3rd International New Energy Vehicle Summit 2012is expected to attract 200+ participants, including automobile manufacturers, battery makers, automobile parts suppliers, infrastructure construction solution providers, investment and financing institutions, design and consulting professionals, etc. Government ministry and commission officials will analyze the Energy Saving and NEV Industry Development Plan, while the local government officials will introduce the investment, purchase and compensation plan of the 1,000 New Energy Vehicles in 10 Cities Program.
