Overview

After China government cancelled the steel export debate, China steel exporters lost their advantages in competition. China even turned out to be a net-importing country in this April and May.

To enhance the competition capability of steel products, China increased the export rebate of steel products for the 2nd time on June 1st, 2009. Though the global demand for steel is still weak at this moment, large consumption is expected in the near future brought by infrastructure constructions.

What’s the future of China steel export and global steel market? How will China's economy stimulus plan affect China steel industry and China steel export? All these hotspots will be discussed at this upcoming ‘2009 China Steel International Trade Summit’.
