Introduction of GEF
What is GEF?
GEF stands for Global Ethanol Fellows. It is part of CCICP. (China Commodity International cooperation Promoting Center) It works as the association of companies and individuals that are active in the global ethanol market. GEF's membership is open to all the companies and individuals that are active in the ethanol production, marketing and consumption for use as feedstock or fuel, as well as to service providers to this industry.

What is GEF's mission?
GEF aims to be part of your ethanol business by providing an effective means of information sharing, networking, communication and business cooperation to all members in matters of general and specific interest. Beginning its activities in China in 2006 on "GEF China Ethanol Forum", GEF has expended activates in 2010 to global market.

How do we achieve the mission?

  1. Annual Meeting—GEF annual meetings are held twice in a year: GEF China Ethanol Forum and GEF Global Ethanol Forum.
  2. Site Tour—GEF also organize tour visit to ethanol related industry, such as cassava plantation investment, products trade fair and ethanol plant investigation etc.
  3. Information Sharing—Working as strategy partners with ICIS, GEF provides all members with monthly delivered E-journal "Ethanol Express" and VIP market reports.
  4. Business Promotion—GEF provides ethanol brokerage business mainly handled by CCICP of CBI. Other services such as financing and logistic are also provided by CCICP which aims to promote business relationships between China and abroad.
